In their second restaurant, SuperBite, chefs Greg Denton and Gabi Quiñónez Denton deliver bold, global flavors; celebrating the synergy of seemingly separate bites that go even better together. At SuperBite, chefs and cooks alike develop dishes and can be spotted tableside, delivering their creations directly to guests.
Greg and Gabi met working together in 1999 at Terra Restaurant in Napa Valley. Now married, they opened Ox Restaurant in April 2012 to critical acclaim and national accolades. In 2013, The Oregonian named Ox “Restaurant of the Year.” In 2014, Greg and Gabi were named Food and Wine magazine’s Best New Chefs.
This March, Greg and Gabi were slated as finalists for the James Beard, Best Chef: Northwest award and released a cookbook called Around the Fire: Recipes for Inspired Grilling and Seasonal Feasting from Ox Restaurant with Ten Speed Press.
When they are not in the kitchen, you can find them starting fires in their backyard with their two rescued mastiffs, Mabel and Nico.
